Welcome to School Monitoring App ("us", "we", or "our"). This is developed for the Field staff of Samagra Shiksha to support them with their school visits and capturing the School and Classroom observation data. Through this policy, Samagra Shiksha is committed to protecting privacy and ensuring the security of personal and sensitive information. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal and sensitive user data that our app accesses, collects, uses, and shares, particularly related to Users' Photograph, Mobile Number, and Geographic information. A) Personal and Sensitive Data:

Our app may access, collect, use, and share personal and sensitive user data, including but not limited to Users' Image, Mobile Number, and geographic information. This may include images and visual content that Samagra Shiksha chooses to upload or provide while using the app.

 Samagra Shiksha collects and process Users' information for the sole purpose of enhancing uses’ experience with the app and supporting them to complete their job responsibilities effectively. This may include using image data, email, mobile number, and geographic data to provide specific functionalities or features within the app.

The field staff will visit the school and capture the data through School Monitoring App (Tour Diary), which is designed to improve monitoring and inspection of government schools in Gujarat.

It allows real-time data collection, geo-tagged school visits, and role-based reporting by field staff. The app captures school locations and tracks the school monitoring activity.

Knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information except where required or permitted by law. User is explicitly giving consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of their personal and sensitive data,  as described in this Privacy Policy.

C) Location Information

  This app may collect and process real-time location data from user’s device, such as GPS school coordinates (longitude and latitude), or location information based on network signals, longitude & latitude. This information is gathered only when user grants the app permission to access the device’s location.

  This location data is collected for the purpose of tracking visits of field staff, verifying attendance, ensuring route accuracy, and improving operational efficiency. The app may use location data in the background and/or foreground as required to enable core functionality.

  Users’ location data is stored securely and may be uploaded to our secure servers or used to generate reports and analytics relevant to their duties.

3) Data Sharing

A) Third Parties:

Samagra Shiksha may share User information generated/collected through this app with third-party service providers that assist in delivering the app's functionalities and other services as and when required by Samagra Shiksha. These service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are not allowed to use the data for any other purpose without the permission of Samagra Shiksha.

B) Legal Obligations:

The Samagra Shiksha has taken reasonable precautions to ensure that  access to this application is secure and free from any viruses, trojans or similar destructive software. However, The Samagra Shiksha does not, in any manner and for any purpose, warrant that users access to this app will be secure and free from any viruses, trojans or similar destructive software. Users are hereby cautioned that The Samagra Shiksha will not, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, accept any liability for any damage sustained as a result of their accessing this app. users are expressly advised to carry out their own security precautions and checks prior to and whilst accessing the app.
