School Monitoring Application

Under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, there are level wise field staffs like CRCs, BRCs, BRPs etc. to support the schools, facilitate to improve the quality education and to support the rollout of initiatives & projects started by state. They visit the schools & other educational institutes for supervision & to provide the support as defined by the states. There are some paper based designed forms to capture the observed details from school visits, which they enter the same in digital forms on weekly basis. But there is no unified or identical data which could be analyzed to check the status of the on-going activities on field and to monitor the observed data & requirements/needs identified by field level staff for schools.

Looking at the above scenario, state has developed a holistic web & mobile based school monitoring application(SMA) by replacing the existing process of manual paper-based observation process for field level staff (CRCs/BRCs/BRPs etc.) to capture the real time data which improves School Management and Governance by timely interventions, streamlining processes, creating transparency and driving accountability through channelized escalations to field level academic & Non-academic staff and timely actions.
